Our care model
Our care model, with its single point of access, ensures our patients see the professional most able to meet their needs. This ensures that all members of the multi-professional see the patients that are most suited to their professional skills. We are really proud of the integrated services we can offer our patients. Our community-based colleagues are co-located in our Poynton base meaning we all work as one team, can access relevant clinical records and support each other in providing the best possible care.
The support we offer to your professional development
Being part of a large practice enables us to offer more opportunities for professional development and support. Our approach to multi-professional clinical supervision has gained us national recognition and we are working to implement this across our multi-disciplinary team so everyone feels supported and has opportunities to develop. Our larger teams mean there is more opportunity for peer support too.
The opportunities for research
We are a level 3 NIHR site and regularly run research studies that are relevant and beneficial to our patients. One of our salaried GPs joined us following a 12-month research fellowship and is now working very closely with our Research Lead Partner.

Our commitment to your wellbeing
General Practice can be a challenging environment to work in at present. In line with commitment to staff wellbeing, we have a staff well-being group who are active in running events and supporting our teams. These include practice activities, a walking/running group, and we are always looking for new ideas to engage and support the wellbeing of our staff.
Our great location
East Cheshire is a wonderful part of the world to live in. Our practices are located in large villages surrounded by the beautiful Cheshire countryside, on the edge of the Peak District and within easy reach of Macclesfield, Stockport and Manchester.
