Learning organisation

We have set up a way of making decisions and managing our governance that reflects our commitment to learning in all parts of the organisation.

We have employed a full time governance lead who supports all our teams in identifying, reflecting and learning on all practice activities.

We have a number of action learning sets that support our primary care network (PCN) clinical staff in both clinical learning as well as understanding general practice and primary care.

Both our senior management team and our middle managers attend externally facilitated action learning sets to support both their professional and personal development.

We are a training practice, supporting GP Registrars as well as regular cohorts of medical students, as well as offering placements to physician associate students.

Our patients’ voice is heard via our Patient Participation Group, made up of the Chairs of each of our bases’ Patient Participation Forums.
