Chronic Pain

Usually, after an injury, things settle down after about 6-8 weeks. However, in some people the pain can continue for more than 12 weeks and we would then classify this as “chronic pain”.

Chronic pain can also affect people who have underlying medical problems such as Diabetes, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Chronic pain is a complex condition.
