Transport Information

Limited on site parking is available for free.

Buses are available directly from Macclesfield and back via the Stockport-Heaviley-Poynton-Bollington-Macclesfield (Number 391) route.

 

Open Hands Community Transport (reg. charity: 1023844) offers transport to medical appointments for elderly, disabled or vulnerable residents of Poynton. Please see their website for more information: Open Hand Community Transport.

 

Accessibility

Wheelchair users are able to access the building through the main entrance.

 

Enhanced Access Appointments

As well as our normal appointments, we offer Enhanced Access appointments. This means you can see a doctor, nurse, or another member of our team outside our usual opening hours. If you want one of these appointments, please speak to one of our receptionists and they will help you book.

• When these appointments are available

  • • Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 8:00am and 6:30pm – 8:00pm (at selected surgery sites)

    • Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm at Priorslegh Medical Centre

• Important information
  During Enhanced Access times, the surgery is open only for pre-booked appointments. This means:

• • • PATCHS is not available

    • We cannot take phone queries

    • We cannot accept walk-ins

 

When We Are Closed

Middlewood Partnership is here to help you and your family stay healthy. We always try to give you the best care we can.

We are not open 24 hours a day, and sometimes health problems happen when we are closed.

• In a medical emergency, dial ‘999’ or attend the local Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.
• Many minor ailments can now be treated by your pharmacy. Visit the NHS Pharmacies website for more details.
