We know that our patients value seeing the same regular doctor as often as possible, so we are working towards patients seeing the same clinician for all of their ongoing care where clinically appropriate. Wherever possible, this is likely to be a GP that you have a relationship with, or whom you have seen most frequently over the years – we call this your ‘Usual GP’. Patients newly registering to the surgery will have one of our GPs assigned as their ‘Usual GP’ based on their practice of choice.
You have the right request to see a different clinician or change your ‘Usual GP’ at any time, should you feel the need. Please discuss this with a member of our Patient Services Advisors over the phone or in person.
