As part of the administration and secretarial teams – and specifically as Secretarial Admin Support – you will bring integrity and focus in addition to your administrative skills, to support our patients and the teams. We are looking for someone who is a team player, is able to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment and who has excellent communication skills. Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Assist the secretarial team with general administration duties
• Chase hospital correspondence and blood test results
• Forward results to consultant secretaries, hospitals, outside agencies etc
• Deal with patient summary requests
• Answer phone calls, transferring calls to the relevant team
• Email non-electronic referrals
